The Visible SeLF...

The self is an individual person as the object of his or her own reflective consciousness. The reflective consciousnes is not always visible to the world. So in order to display this self, we present the body and dress. Being that we are biological, aesthetically sensitive and social beings this form of communication has been carried out through the ages. Dress and adornment is a persons most immediate and physical response to the environment. Not only does it act as a buffer of environment and self but also creates a link for other individuals through interpretation of beauty. I design jewelry based on my fantasize and idealize lust for life.
