pansy.
well. focusing back on my garden and beautifying the outdoor area.........I have been in need of more color and I found the pansy to be the solution. this hardy winter flower can live through light winter freezes and in warmer climates can bloom over the winter. the word "pansy" is originated from the French word pensee meaning "thought". the "pansy" has often been used as a symbol of Freethought because the flower resembles a human face and during the month of August it leans forward as if it were in deep thought.
But not only is this flower deep in thought but powerful with potion. LOVE potion that it is......!!William Shakespeare's play A Midnight's Summers Dream, the juice of the pansy blossom is used as a love potion. "the juice of it, on sleeping eyelids laid, will make a man or woman madly dote (fall in love) upon the next live creative that it sees."
thoughtful and magical.....that PANSY !!!! love it.
