"Lost in the World", Lost in the City.

Mornings normally start with milk and honey. So, I decided that today I would pay particular attention as to why these two are significant.

Milk and honey seem to have a long history.... Ancient times the abundance of wild honey signified characteristic of attractive conditions happening to a land. Thus humans dependant on the earth's fertility would value this phenomenon. In Egyptian culture milk and honey were part of religious rituals. Egyptians chanted that milk should never be far from the mouths of the dead. Jars of honey were almost always present in tombs, as well as in hieroglyphics depicting its great importance. Honey is described as "the lord of offerings and celestrial food-for it is sweet to the heart: it opens the flesh, knits together the bones, gathers together all the parts of the body, and the dead drink the smell of it." Ancients observed and wrote about pastures rich in greens and flowers producing adundant amounts of milk and honey. Evidence proves the world is right when milk and honey are plentiful.
